Fundraising

Share the FUN in OAR's Fundraising Committee and help create enjoyable fundraising opportunities to support OAR's mission. This group of professionals and volunteers welcomes enthusiastic new members to contribute to the calendar of activities, such as open house parties, restaurant benefits, annual garage sale, Kroger gift cards, and more. Join the OAR Fundraising Committee through a monthly committee meeting and varied involvement levels and have fun making a difference.
Trap-Neuter-Return

The TNR committee assists feral cat colony feeders in trapping an spay/neutering cats in their care. Assisting someone who has been unable to trap a cat is a rewarding way to make a big difference in a small amount of time!
Marketing

The purpose of the Marketing Committee is to develop larger-scale programs (such as the "Neuterville Express" brand name) to raise awareness of OAR and its programs in the community. Interested instead in working special events? See our Events page.
Adoption

The adoption committee regularly meets on the 3rd Wed of the month at 6:30 pm. We are currently concentrating on developing programs to find homes for older and more difficult to adopt cats. We continue to refine and improve our expanded foster program with new initiatives and a larger network of foster homes. There is a current need for fosters willing to take on kittens with or without their mother.
A'cat'emy Awards

OAR's A'cat'emy Awards Extravaganza is held each February, and is one of its major fundraisers. For this event, approximately 200 attendees enjoy dinner and silent and live auctions. Volunteers are needed to help solicit auction items, market the event, assist in decor, and work the night of the event helping with check-in, games, auction, trivia contests, and other functions. 2013's event raised $20,000 to assist OAR's programs. Planning activity for next year's event will resume in late spring.
